Day 9: Amaka, Christy O, Cyph, Khalid and Phyna; Housemates up for Eviction!
HoH Hermes took the long walk upstairs to the Diary Room for the first time as Head of House for his Nominations after considerable consideration with the Level 1 Housemates.
Big Brother Naija Level Up housemates Amaka, Christy O, Cyph, Khalid, and Phyna were the first to get nominations.
As is customary in the Level Up House, HoH Hermes had the only right to nominate, and despite discussing it with the Level 1 Housemates, he did so even though he was not required to.

Hermes admitted to Big Brother that he had made every effort to pay attention to the instructions and maintain his composure during the procedure.
He said that because of the closeness they had already developed with the Level 2 Housemates, the nomination process was difficult.
Hermes explained his choice by saying, “We have to do our utmost to hold up space to stay in the House as long as we can.
For his nominations, he gave the following justifications:
Amaka has a powerful voice, and because of how powerful she is both within and outside the House, she could be rescued.
Christy O accomplished a lot. She has a lovely voice.
Cyph is the most powerful and assured. He advanced to the HoH challenge finals. He poses a danger to my group and me.
Hermes’s choice to accept Khalid as a brother after their coupling outside the Level Up House was a difficult one for him to make.
He acknowledged to Big Brother that he did his best to resist this choice but that Khalid poses a danger.
His victory is also mine, and vice versa. Although he is my brother, I must nominate him,” Hermes insisted.
Phyna is definitely a leader. She exudes confidence and has a powerful voice.
Biggie informed Level 2 that Hermes had decided on his nominations for Week 2 and cautioned the five nominees not to solicit votes or discuss their nominations.

After learning of their Nomination, the girls Amaka, Christy O, and Phyna were overcome with emotion.
Their other housemates comforted them that it was just a game and that they would all be nominated at some time throughout the tournament.
Despite their best efforts, Cyph and Khalid seemed to be having a hard time processing everything. Daniella swiftly grabbed Khalid in her arms after realizing her task.
