How to vote on BBNaija.
Big Brother Nigeria now refered to as BBNaija is a reality show which has contestants competing for a large cash prize worth millions of naira.
These contestants stay in an isolated house and have to put up their best in order to avoid being evicted by the viewers.
At the end of the show, one of the housemates who has been voted for massively by the viewers walks away with the cash prize, a car and other valuables.
Most people are still confused on how to vote for their favourite housemate and hence, this guide.
There are three ways to vote for your fav BBN contestants:
- Website
- Mobile site
- MyDStv and MyGOtv app.
1. Website Voting
To vote on the website, you have to be a registered voter. So,
- Register to vote on africamagic.tv/big brother.
- Click on the VOTE menu
- Click on REGISTER and enter your details with a preferred password
- A ONE TIME PIN will be sent via sms
- Enter the OTP, select your favorite housemate and vote.
The website is limited to 100 votes per user, data charges will be applied but website votes are totally free.
2. Mobile Site Voting
To vote on the mobile site,
- You can register on africamagic.tv/bigbrother
- Click on the Vote menu item.
- Click on Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, location, cell phone number in the international format (e.g. +234456789) and your preferred password
- You will receive an OTP via SMS.
- Enter your OTP
- Once registered, you will be able to vote after the show.
Mobile site votes are free but data costs are applied.
3. MYDStv and MYGOtv App
To vote on MYDStv or MYGOtv app, you have to be a subscriber. This method of voting gives additional votes and these additional votes are awarded based on the subscription package. So,
- Download MYDStv or MYGOtv app on playstore.
- Log in to the app, put your details and smart card number.
- Click on the VOTE NOW and
- Cast your votes.
Data charges will be applied and the votes are free too.
Each user is permitted to cast 100 votes from each of these platforms.
Housemates Voting Codes
africamagic.tv/bigbrother is where you can find all of the voting codes for the housemates.
During the live shows, will the rules for how the housemates vote change or stay the same?
During the whole show or season, the voting codes for each housemate will stay the same.
Active DStv subscribers in certain countries with eligible packages are the only ones who can vote on the MyDStv and MyGOtv app.
Before or during the voting round, people will sign up with their name, last name, date of birth, gender, location, and cell phone number to vote on the website, mobile site, and app.
